People are sick and tired of misleading politics and are concerned with what the government is doing but do not always understand or trust what they hear from national news stations. Citizens crave the truth; no one wants to be ignorant of what is happening around them. Our application remedies these issues: we provide not only the issues that affect them, but also the truth about those problems. Our app will revolutionize how political news is conveyed.
Clear Vote, provides a mobile application that focuses on candidates and their respective issue. It provides users a way to make voting easier and more specific to an individual’s values and beliefs. The application is a way to vote in an unbiased manner, it takes away the face from the candidates and the prejudice they bring with it. Clear Vote will focus on more truthful, factual information on politics, educating the user with straightforward and easy to use information. Know exactly what, and who you're voting for.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your post, I think your idea would be a great help for all the community not only in the United States, but in the entire world also. I think it is time for us and the government to implement the use of technology in such a complicated and debatable topic which is voting. ReplyDeleteI would find this app very useful so you definitely got my attention. It's hard to find unbiased political information. I feel this app would be very helpful in helping me make a better voting decision because it focuses on what I am looking for in a candidate as far as views go and not just a name.
Here is a link to my pitch. It's about offering a free service to parents with children on the autism spectrum. It will allow them to track their child (those who tend to wander) in a timely manner and be affordable to all.

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of making this into an app! The voting class with the worst turn out is often said to be the younger demographic. Putting this into an app would certainly make it "young people friendly." I do think it would be a tad bit difficult to provide "unbaised" information. I'm sure you and your co-workers are all going to try very hard to be as objective as possible but a little bit of bias one way or another is normal and is human. I admire your idea of minimizing that as much as possible.
